As a young nurse and a midwife painting on the ward windows at Christmas, I never dreamt that one day I’d be illustrating nursing and medical magazines. After completing an Illustration degree at Loughborough University it seemed the obvious place to go, combining my two great passions.

 

I have also worked on community art projects in schools and colleges and as an adult art tutor for both classes and workshops. 

 

Brought up in Devon and living in Leicestershire I have long been inspired by the landscape, which is the main focus of my current work, from small intimate gardens and woods to wide open spaces and moors.
